Picture of JEAN ROI CAP PROVINCIAL ROSÉ 2018 (MAGNUM)
An appealing wine, from its pale coral colour to its strawberry- and peach aromatics. In the mouth it is simultaneously light, bright and vivacious while also being gentle. There is a lovely subtle, understated interplay between the red fruit notes of strawberry and raspberry and the fresh acidity which adds crisp life. The delicious tang and juiciness is balanced by a structured mid-palate and defined tail. Ideal for summer.

Abundant cherry and strawberry appeal add to the lightly floral and citrus nuanced nose. Intense flavours of raspberry, cherry and strawberries presents on the palate. Lively, succulent and fresh but with a gentle and well-rounded body. As with the nose, there’s a light citrus – pink grapefruit – nuance which adds to the overall appeal. Lovely long lingering tail.

Subtle coral hue. Abundant red berry fruit on the nose with dusty raspberry, cherry and a light berry perfume. The same berry vibrancy can be found in the mouth. The palate is juicy, succulent and packed with plum, red cherry, raspberry and strawberry but all well balanced and structured. This wine has an appealing dryness and texture, finishing with a long tail.

Picture of L'ORMARINS BRUT CLASSIQUE ROSÉ NV
Coral pink hue with a vigorous stream of fine bubbles. Bold strawberry and red berry fruit on the nose. There’s more of this in the mouth – with cherry, strawberry and bold red fruit on entry. The fresh, zesty lemon and citrus zip of acidity adds succulence to the mouthful. A broader creaminess then develops with signature toast and biscuit notes. Balanced and harmonious, the wine is well structured, long and complex but refreshing and vibrant throughout.

Picture of L'ORMARINS BRUT ROSÉ VINTAGE 2017
Subtle coral and partridge eye hue. Consistent stream of delicate bubbles. Complex nose of citrus zest – naartjie and tangerine – underpinned by toast and red cherries with a briny, maritime nuance. Rich, rounded and full palate with brioche, yeast and baked biscuit notes, all perfectly counterbalanced by a vibrant tang of tangerine and succulent red cherry appeal. Delightful twist of dry, chalky grip. Crisp and refreshing with a defined yet richly rewarding mouthful. Lovely long aftertaste reflective of both a good vintage and well judged time on lees during secondary fermentation.
