Subtle coral hue. Abundant red berry fruit on the nose with dusty raspberry, cherry and a light berry perfume. The same berry vibrancy can be found in the mouth. The palate is juicy, succulent and packed with plum, red cherry, raspberry and strawberry but all well balanced and structured. This wine has an appealing dryness and texture, finishing with a long tail.

The palate is at first restrained before revealing juicy red plums and ripe cherries brushed with peppery spice. Layers of fruit are intertwined with cedar and oak tannin, which is well integrated and poised. The wine appears light, but with time, it gradually reveals its refined depths. Rewardingly long aftertaste.

A vigorous and lively string of fine bubbles trail upward in the glass. The aroma is like a morning walk on the beach with sea foam and kelp carried on the air, along with oyster shell, bold citrus zest and a shy biscuit note. Crunchy and crisp entry, lively and fresh carrying flavours of orange and lemon. Taut. Pure and focused with thrilling lime backed by a gentle toast, cream and brioche. Adding to the overall complexity is a marmalade pith and zest dryness. The wine boasts grip, balance and superb poise, trailing languidly to a long gently leesy baked orange and toast tail.

Richly seductive with its mélange of black fruits, spice, tobacco leaf, and a captivating floral hint on the nose. Those same opulent berry compote notes are apparent in the mouth: raspberry, blue, and black berries with some violets and nutty spice reminiscent of toasted pecans and hazelnuts. Taut, focused, and reflective of an excellent vintage, the wine has yet to unfurl and show its true colours. It's harmonious, graceful, and richly textured, with a lovely oak platform, but it'll benefit from more aging to reveal its full complexity. Long, impactful, and memorable flavour.
